Tóm tắt

Part rant, part manifesto and part call to action, Queer Creative Critical Compositionism is a hailing, informed by practice-based, queer, feminist materialist tendencies. This call to materialists, digital humanists, makers, scholars and humanists at large urges us to keep a critical engagement in play but to extend our critical capacities to making and composing, understood broadly across disciplines, methods, fields and practices of scholarship, teaching, and learning, including digital media, computation and making. It insists on the value of approaches learned through cultural studies as we confront liberal arts education in the face of climate change, financialization and big data, as well as large scale technological shifts in the world and theoretical shifts in the academy. © 2015 Macmillan Publishers Ltd.
