This list of 10 recommendations is aimed at job seekers who seek a position among teaching faculty in higher education and is based on the author’s experience as a recent chair of, and a frequent participant in, political science faculty searches that have been conducted at a small liberal arts institution, where primacy is placed on teaching excellence.
