This paper discusses models for the development of an educational program for technology management in a liberal arts curriculum at the undergraduate level for engineers, and analyses and evaluates the attitude changes of the learners who complete the program in 2014 and 2016. The programs developed are based on the concept of fusing technology management and career design. In this program, students learn mechanisms to promote novel value creation activities, select an industry and vocation that capitalizes on their own abilities, and cultivate the ability to create precise motivations through selfmanagement and industry/company research. Some models are proposed and applied in the development of an educational program within the liberal arts program at Kanazawa Institute of Technology(KIT) in Japan. © 2017 IEEE.
